All of our waters are rented or leased from their owners and our continued access depends to a great extent on the behaviour of our members. Accordingly members are requested to comply with the spirit of the Rules as well as the ‘letter’. By its members acting in a considerate way RADAC will maintain its good reputation and be able to maintain its present fishing and secure new opportunities.

You can download copies of the Club's constitution and its Fishing Rules on this page. Please take the time to read and understand these important documents.

The byelaws that apply to the North West of England govern such things as the closed seasons and limits on the taking of fish. They are available from the Environment Agency Web Site by following this link:

Environment Agency North West Byelaws

Please note in particular that the Club has added the following clause to its Constitution in respect of the tagging of salmon:

    Clause 30

The Environment Agency has made a Fisheries Byelaw (17th July 2006) which restricts anglers fishing the River Ribble, and all waters tributary and connected with it, to the killing of no more that two salmon between the 16th June and the 31st October (the killing of salmon before the 16th June being forbidden by the North West Fisheries Byelaws). In support of this byelaw the Environment Agency has put in place a voluntary tagging scheme for any salmon so killed. The Committee has decided that compliance with the tagging requirement will be mandatory for all members fishing RADAC waters. If the Environment Agency modifies or cancels these byelaws the Committee shall review the Constitution accordingly.
