Guest Tickets For many years RADAC has been one of the few clubs in the area that has allowed its members to purchase guest tickets. Initially  were allowed five a year; then this was reduced to three. It has now been decided that, with immediate effect, members will only be allowed a single guest ticket per year. This ticket must be booked in advance. The member must provide the date on which the ticket will be used and the name of the guest. Being dated there is no requirement to return it following use. It goes without saying that it can only be used for the person and on the date stated.  Any existing guest tickets must be used in accord with the old procedure before the 31st December 2022 when they will become invalid. Manor House Fishery The Committee has decided not to renew this arrangement with effect from the 1st June 2022. Invasive Species, Dikerogammarus Villosus,  ‘Killer Shrimp’ It is believed that this invasive species is present in the River Calder. Members are therefore urged to take care to avoid its spread; both within the Calder and to other systems by adopting the following measures: Check your gear after leaving the water for mud, aquatic animals or plant material. Remove anything you find and leave it at the site. Clean everything thoroughly as soon as you can, paying attention to nets, waders, and areas that are damp and hard to access. Use hot water if possible. Dry everything for as long as possible before using elsewhere as some invasive plants and animals can survive for two weeks in damp conditions.
